NHVAS fees on the rise
NATIONAL Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme fees will rise from October 15.
Under the ‘Establish, maintain or add accreditation module/s’, mass, maintenance and Basic Fatigue Management will increase from $84 to $88 and Advanced Fatigue Management will rise from $127 to $134.
Under the ‘Vehicles to be added or remain in accreditation module/s’, mass management and maintenance management will rise from $27 to $32/vehicle.
The NHVR said the current fee schedule did not reflect the true cost of assessing NHVAS applications and the assistance provided by the accreditation team.
Since February 10, 2014, the NHVR has been the single administrator of the NHVAS, using a single fee structure for all states and territories. While other NHVR fees have increased each year, NHVAS fees have remained the same.
