Lights on the Hill

Bling'd Up Trucks - - News -

Lights on the Hill Trucking Memorial Convoy held on the last Saturday of February drew a record number of vehicles with over 785 in the massive convoy of trucks motorcysles and utes coming from BP Archerfield in Brisbane and Brown and Hurley in Toowoomba. The day gave drivers and their families an opportunity to get together with other truckies to remember lost mates and making the public aware of how important truckies are to all of us. The event raises money for the Truck & Coach Drivers Memorial Wall located in Gatton. Kerry Wilkins, LOTH President, said he was proud of what the volunteers had achieved, especially with a move to a new venue, the Gatton Racecourse. The day was broken down into two parts with the convoy and the truck judging in the day and a massive country music concert at night. A great line up of acts including Adam Brand and McAlister Kemp rocked the new venue. We would like to thank Jack Duffy for the concert photos.
