Blunt - - Upfront -

What other names did you consider

calling yourselves? We nearly called ourselves Fun or Fun

City ‘cos we thought that would be cool but after a few days of chilling out and playing Frisbee we realised it was

actually really bad. Where are you from and what would be the most recognisable local landmark? We’re all from Brisbane… Hmmm, how about that Australian souvenir shop on Albert Street, that’s pretty memorable... Who is in your band, what do they play and what is their non-musical superpower?

Tim Dennis (guitar, can become a Canadian version of himself); Brendon Lee (bass, he can sweet talk a woman better than James Brown at an after party); Liv Blackie (keys, backing vocals, stunning good looks); Gred Porter (drums, stunning safety record – insurance companies love him); Sam Baxter (vocals, guitar, really good at

shuffling cards).

Name your three biggest influences. The Fray, The Killers, and

Imagine Dragons. What’s your pre-show

warm-up routine? It smells a lot like honey and lemon throat lozenges mixed with the scent of white tea and the smell of brand

new T-shirts. Tell us about your most

memorable show. We played a show in New Zealand back in 2012 and afterwards we went skinny

dipping in Lake Taipo. What band would you most like to

share the stage with?

We’d love to share the stage with Paramore, as long as they teach us how to backflip with guitars and provide

some safety nets for G Porter. What is your latest release and why

should we buy it? Our latest release is PutYourMoney

WhereYourMouth Is and Tim says you should buy it because it’s tastier than organic brownies, will make you heaps of cool friends, and as a bonus you’ll

get rich from listening to it.
