A tipi marquee created a stunning backdrop for a cocktail wedding reception
following the marriage of Sheridan Fullager and Matt Davies. The bride’s aunt and uncle offered their Nathalia property for the celebrations which allowed
the couple to create the relaxed, vintage outdoor wedding they had planned.

Sheridan was surprised by Matt’s marriage proposal on the beach in Rarotonga, Cook Islands; their first stop on a six-week world trip. The couple attended different secondary schools but met through mutual friends and married one month after their 10-year anniversary.
Layers of sponge cake filled with jam and cream and served with berries was a simple yet well-received wedding cake. “Our local bakery made the cake and I ran out of time to decorate it. Jam and cream oozed out of the layers and we had so many positive comments from our guests. The cake was huge and the whole thing was eaten,” Sheridan said.
Sheridan’s lace wedding gown featured a draped hemline falling to a train that was perfect for the relaxed outdoor wedding. The bridesmaids’ dresses also featured lace trim and asymmetrical hemlines.
