The Broome Junior Pennant grand finalists were decided last week after two teams celebrated their convincing wins.

The Vipers defeated the Anacondas 3-9-117 to 0-2-92 in a landslide junior semifinal, with the King Cobras beating the Taipans 2-6-86 to 1-3-72. The two teams will meet in a keenly awaited grand final match this week.

It was a different story in the senior division, which saw some much closer meetings, with the Castros edging out The Stalins by a 4-15-250 to 4-13-250 scoreline.

The Trumps had a similar close encounter, just managing to defeat The Presidents by 4-16268 to 4-13-264.

Kim Jong-Il enjoyed the easiest victory of the week, defeating JFKs 6-20-301 to 2-12-268. Sultans upset the Putins by a scoreline of 5-16-269 to 3-12-250.

Although they had a bye last week, The Mongols are still sitting second on the team points ladder, with the Castros comfortably on top with a score of 416.

The senior competition continues this week.
