Recently Years 3-6 students descended on BRAC for the first ever Broome North PS House Swimming Carnival. Students couldn’t wait to make a splash to compete in both traditional swimming races and novelty team events. The staff were incredibly proud of the resilience of each student on the day, with many overcoming pre-carnival nerves to compete for their house and earn house points for participating. At the end of the carnival Stingrays won the day, followed closely by Mangrove Jacks and Green Turtles. Age group champions and runners up then received their medals in front of the whole school at assembly. A huge thank you goes out to our legendary parent helpers who volunteered their time to ensure the day ran smoothly. Thanks also to Physical Education specialist Miss Allison Durling for her expertise and dedication in organising such a memorable and exciting day for Broome North PS students.
