Witnesses sought over street attack
Broome detectives have launched an appeal for witnesses after a 57-year-old man was seriously assaulted on the street.
Police allege the man was standing on a section of footpath on Anne Street, near the Dora Street intersection, when he was attacked about 7.30am on March 26.
The injured victim was initially treated at nearby Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service before being conveyed to Broome Hospital.
