Ex­cit­ing school hol­i­day pro­grams com­ing up

The Broome Recre­ation and Aquatic Cen­tre and Broome Pub­lic Li­brary have ex­cit­ing school hol­i­day pro­grams start­ing soon. The BRAC pro­gram will run week­days from Wednesday 18 to Fri­day 27 April with op­tions of a half day from 8am to 2.30pm, or a full day from 8am to 4.30pm for chil­dren 6-12 years. Fees ap­ply and places are lim­ited, with ac­tiv­i­ties in­clud­ing sci­ence, Wasamba Drum­ming, movie days and the swim­ming pool in­flat­able. En­rol­ment is now open with forms avail­able from the Shire web­site, BRAC or email brac@broome.wa.gov.au. The Li­brary’s free ‘Build a Cas­tle’ themed pro­gram runs from Mon­day 16 to Fri­day 27 April at 10.30am each day, and runs for about an hour for chil­dren 6-12 who must be ac­com­pa­nied by an adult.
