BUNDABERG Race Club’s Shanyn Limpus is ready for plenty of heart-thumping action as the local racing calendar starts showcasing some of the best racing action of the season.

Shanyn said the Melbourne Cup continued to be the most popular race day of the year, and is one of the best atmospheres for experiencing the race that stops the nation.

“This can be seen in the fact that all private areas are nearly sold out for this event, but there are still tables for six to 10 people available in the public marquee for $85 per person,” she said.

“The races are definitely a great day out here locally and spring and summer race days are very popular due to the combination of warmer weather and fun fashions.”
