Up­grade for Mar­riott Mo­bile app

A new it­er­a­tion of the Mar­riott Mo­bile apppp has been rolled out, with fea­tures de­signeded to of­fer mem­bers of Mar­riott Re­wards a more tai­lored mo­bile ex­pe­ri­ence.

Key fea­tures in­clude the abil­ity to re­quest room up­grades and re­ceive no­ti­fi­ca­tion that it has been ful­filled be­fore ar­rival us­ing the app. Late check­out re­quests – guar­an­teed for Gold and Plat­inum Elite Mar­riott Re­wards mem­bers – are also now avail­able through the app.

Mean­while, a new chat op­tion for guests to speak di­rectly with ho­tel staff be­fore, dur­ing and af­ter their stays in or­der to make spe­cial re­quests has been added, and more than 500 ho­tels glob­ally will roll out the group’s Mo­bile Key func­tion. mar­riott.com
