Changi Airport unveils Canopy Park

Business Traveller (Asia-Pacific) - - UP FRONT -

SINGAPORE’S Changi Airport is set to get a garden-themed leisure space on the top floor of its upcoming Jewel development – scheduled to open in early 2019 – that will include some 14,000 sqm of leisure and F&B facilities.

Called Canopy Park, the area will include gardens comprising 1,400 trees and palms, and walking trails as well as dining outlets. Canopy Park will also include a 50-metre-long bridge, situated 23 metres above ground with glass panel flooring in the centre.

The arboreal theme takes inspiration from Singapore’s own push to become known as a “City in a Garden” – as is evident with developments such as Gardens by the Bay. changiairport.com
