United to connect Houston with Australia
has announced a new non-stop route between Houston and Sydney, launching on January 18, 2018.
The daily service will be the carrier’s second-longest non-stop route (at 13,834km/8,596 miles) after Los Angeles–Singapore, which launches at the end of this month. It will also be the only non-stop service between Houston and Australia.
Flight UA101 will depart Houston at 2000, landing in Sydney at 0630 two days later, with the return leg UA100 leaving Australia at 1150 and landing back in Houston at 1035 the same day.
Flights will be operated by United’s B787-9 aircraft, configured with 48 Polaris business class seats, 63 in Economy Plus and 141 in economy. united.com
