Grand Hyatt plans to open 1,600-room hotel in Jeju

HYATT has con­firmed a man­age­ment agree­ment for a Grand Hyatt-branded hotel in Jeju City.

This will be the sec­ond Grand Hyatt prop­erty and sixth Hyatt hotel in South Korea.

The new hotel is pro­jected to have 1,600 rooms, which will make it the sec­ond largest Grand Hyatt in the world.

Other fa­cil­i­ties will in­clude 11 food and bev­er­age out­lets, 1,200 sqm of event space, in­door and out­door pools and two spas (one Korean and one Western).

An open­ing date for the hotel has not yet been an­nounced. hyatt.com
