Guy Dimond started his ca­reer edit­ing and writ­ing travel guide books for Dor­ling Kin­der­s­ley, Cado­gan, Time Out and oth­ers. But win­ning an award as the best food and drink jour­nal­ist in the UK took him in a dif­fer­ent di­rec­tion, and he be­came Time Out’s restau­rant critic in Lon­don. He re­cently switched back to full-time travel jour­nal­ism, based at Busi­ness Trav­eller’s of­fices in Lon­don. His ob­ser­va­tions of food cul­ture ex­tend to air­line and air­port lounge food.
