‘‘We love this re­gion and want to see it pros­per. The board and staff team at Lock­more Fi­nan­cial Ser­vices have done in­cred­i­ble work to sup­port this for al­most 13 years now and I am priv­i­leged to be adding to that as a di­rec­tor.

‘‘To be able to of­fer strate­gic di­rec­tion, fi­nan­cial sus­tain­abil­ity and on­go­ing sup­port for com­mu­nity growth is cru­cial as I step into this chair role.’’

Se­nior branch man­ager Tra­cie Kyne said she was thrilled with the ap­point­ment.

‘‘To be able to have some­one of Brad’s cal­i­bre as chair of our Com­mu­nity Bank board is very ex­cit­ing,’’ she said.

‘‘This will pro­vide the board and staff, and in turn the share­hold­ers and cus­tomers, with great di­rec­tion.

‘‘It is a chal­leng­ing time in bank­ing at present with low in­ter­est rates and low bank mar­gins. We want to con­tinue to give back prof­its to our com­mu­nity and Brad’s skill and knowl­edge dur­ing this time will be in­valu­able.’’
