Campaspe News - - CAMPASPE NEWS - — Rusty Woodger

ROCHESTER’s Salvation Army is urging residents without plans this Christmas to not spend the day alone and come share a traditional Christmas lunch with others in the same situation.

The Harris family has hosted the lunch for more than a decade and it usually attracts more than 40 people.

Lorraine Harris said new- comers were always welcome to join the festivities of the day.

‘‘Everything is supplied, just bring yourself, whether you are single or a couple and will be home with no family to share this special day with,’’ Lorraine said.

‘‘We would love to share this day with you. It is a friendly family environment and even Santa will be making a special stop.’’

The lunch is on Christmas Day at the Salvation Army hall in Elizabeth St, Rochester, starting at noon.

Call Lorraine on 0417 843 570 or Travis on 0417 136 081 for more information, or to confirm your place.
