TWO students from Nanneella Estate Primary School have helped design the Christmas cards for Member for Murray Plains Peter Walsh.

Isobella Church (grade 3) and Guiseppe Galizia (grade 5) were announced as winners of Mr Walsh’s annual competition, which sees him select two primary schools in the electorate and invite students to design the cover of his Christmas cards.

The pair of students received a 36 pack of Derwent colour pencils when Mr Walsh visited them at school on December 16.

‘‘I congratulate Isobella and Guiseppe on their winning designs and I thank each and every student for participating and providing me with such creative designs to choose from,’’ he said.

Lancaster Primary School was the other local school to be invited to take part in this year’s competition.

The four winning designs featured on the Murray Plains electorate Christmas cards.
