BA­MAWM ban­dit Alex McQuib­bin was again suc­cess­ful this time part­ner­ing Bruce Ma­jor win­ning the sta­ble­ford mul­ti­plier with 58 points and tak­ing home the Christ­mas pud­ding gift pack.

Trevor English and Richard Feuk were run­ner­sup on 54 points win­ning home cooked short bread bis­cuits.

Miss­ing out on the Christ­mas snacks were the teams of Spencer Broom and Steve Mal­ley and Gary Char­nas and Lau­rie Jackel who had to make do with the BBQ af­ter play.

Wed­nes­day golf will restart late Fe­bru­ary or early March.

Mon­day, De­cem­ber 19 saw the Mon­day nin­ers and the Wed­nes­day women en­joy a mixed day of golf to see out the 2016 golfing year.

Kevin McCor­mack was our scratch win­ner with 42 off the stick.

Near­est the pin fifth was McCor­mack and he also had the least putts (13).

Hand­i­cap win­ner, Roy Lewis (51-16-35) came in ahead of Rod McAsey (51-141⁄ 361⁄

NTP sev­enth was Lawrie West, and as usual McAsey had the straigh­est drive ninth. Lucky card went to Henry Hoppe. Wendy Furze went well (57-211⁄ 351⁄ to win the women’s com­pe­ti­tion. Run­ner-up was Flor­rie Bick­ley (51-131⁄ 371⁄

Char­lie Frances chris­tened our new bar­be­cue and we all en­joyed lunch.

Our Christ­mas raf­fle was then drawn and win­ners were Doc O’Con­nor, first (Elsey’s voucher), Mer­rin Mur­ray, sec­ond (Rochester Dis­count voucher) and Shirley McAsey, third (Christ­mas tree scratchie).
