Author to visit
PEOPLE in Campaspe Shire can hear from international author and autism spectrum specialist teacher Sue Larkey next month.
Ms Larkey is a highly qualified special educator in mainstream and special schools, and has authored several books and collections of resource materials, and taught both as a primary school teacher and a special education teacher.
Ms Larkey has also completed a Masters in Special Education and is undertaking a Doctorate of Education, focusing on inclusive education.
She will be at the Mercure Port of Echuca in High St on Wednesday, February 15 from 9am-3pm.
It includes a light lunch and tea and coffee.
It will feature what ASD behaviours are, what to do with special interests, strategies for home and more.
