Juniors uphold discipline
Rochester Football Club under 16 players Ben Atley, Adam McPhee, Broden Evans (captain) and Kyle Waterstook with their team’s award for the most disciplined team in the Shepparton District Junior Football League.
ROCHESTER has been recognised as the most disciplined team in the under 16 Shepparton and District Junior Football League competition.
The Tigers finished outside of finals this year at ninth on the ladder, but achieved its own accolade at this year’s league presentation and vote count.
They were presented with the under-16 most disciplined team award which is a credit to all players and coaches John Atley, Joel Waters and Mick Haisman.
During the season Adam McPhee, Nathan Kay and Ben Atley were chosen for representative matches.
The Tigers year started with a lot of promise winning three of the first four matches, unfortunately losing the next six and then regrouping late in the season to post three straight wins before going down to Echuca White in the final round.
They ended with six wins and eight losses despite entering most games with just 18 players.
