ROCHESTER Primary School will be hosting its annual fair on September 21.

The time-honoured event will give students and parents alike the chance to kick off the spring months in style.

Principal Graeme Hodgens said the event is about bringing the community together at an event that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.

‘‘The town has already been very supportive of the fair and I think that’s crucial to making it the funfilled affair it always is,’’ Mr Hodgens said.

‘‘People from the town and its surroundings pop in throughout the day and that’s fantastic to see such strong support for it.

‘‘The kids love seeing the community getting so involved in it so the benefits go through to the kids themselves as well with such high community involvement.’’

The fair will feature stalls for all age groups to enjoy and make the most of the warmer weather.

‘‘There’ll be jumping castles and face-painting for the kids, along with lots of food options,’’ Mr Hodgens said..

‘‘It’ll be the first time the prep level kids experience it, which we hope will be a special moment for them.’’
