ST JOSEPH’S Primary School was bubbling with activity on Friday for their footy colours day.

Students showed where their allegiances lay on the field by wearing the colours of their sides to school.

‘‘It’s fantastic seeing all the kids getting into the spirit of the day and having such a great time,’’ Deputy Principal David Waters said.

Richmond and North Melbourne seemed to have the most support throughout the day, with Father Ashley Caldow even getting into the spirit of the occasion to show his support for Hawthorn.

Club songs were sung throughout the day and lunch was provided by the Parents and Friends Association.
