Police have a lot on their plate
Rochester police are investigating a theft from a motor vehicle on October 23.
A number plate was stolen from the vehicle, which was parked in Mackay St, Rochester between 9am and 1pm.
A number plate was stolen from a caravan overnight on October 20.
The plate was stolen between 11pm and 9.30am from Dingee Rd, Rochester.
A BBQ was stolen from a Moore St, Rochester residence prior to October 21.
Police believe it was taken in the weeks leading up to that date.
A 31-year-old Colbinabbin man was arrested on October 20 after he became abusive towards police.
Police arrested the man on Moore St, Rochester at 11.30pm and he has been charged with offensive language and possession of cannabis.
Police are appealing for help after a rare sign and antique jars valued up to $3000 were stolen from an Elmore store last month.
It is believed offenders gained access to the Cardwell St store some time in September by forcing open a side door.
The large metal sign has been stolen, along with a set of six ‘Golden Fleece’ old-styled washed glass oil tins.
Detectives have released an im- age of the sign in the hope someone recognises it.
Bendigo Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating and are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area at the time.
