CAMPASPE Shire is out of the flu vaccination.

Following a higher than usual up-take of this year’s vaccination the council has exhausted all vaccination stock.

Regulatory and community services general manager Paul McKenzie said more than 1,000 flu vaccinations have been provided to children and adults through the council’s immunisation program this year.

“More than 200 flu vaccinations were provided just on Thursday which resulted in the immunisation team running out of stock,” he said.

“Flu vaccination stock was ordered earlier in the week, however is currently on back order.

‘‘It is hoped new stock will be delivered by the end of the month and the community will be updated once received and the team can recommence the community and business flu immunisation program.”

An additional evening session will be put on in Echuca once stock is received.
