Audit & Risk Committee Expressions of interest are sought for two community members to join the Campaspe Shire Audit & Risk Committee, an advisory committee to council. The committee provides independent and objective advice on matters relating to nancial and performance reporting, governance, risk, internal controls and accounting disclosures. Criteria for appointment is experience and/or qualifications in at least one of the following areas: accounting, auditing, risk management, governance or public sector executive management. Independent community members are appointed to the committee for a term of up to four years and receive a small allowance. Expressions of interest should be in writing, detailing applicant background, addressed to Chief Executive Officer, Campaspe Shire Council, PO Box 35, Echuca Vic 3564, by Friday, 29 June 2018. A selection panel will interview applicants prior to making any recommendation for appointment to council. Campaspe Shire Council has impounded two cattle (1 Bull, 1 Heifer) under the Impounding of Livestock Act 1994 on 6 June 2018 from Peppertree Lane, Girgarre. The cattle are being held at the Echuca & District Livestock Exchange, McKenzie Road, Echuca. If not claimed after 8 days they will be sold at public auction at the Exchange at the next available sale. All enquiries to Ranger, Tim McCormick on 0407 844 875.

Getting roads ready for harvest season Campaspe Shire Council is inviting larger agricultural producers to provide comment on what gravel and earth roads they plan to utilise in advance of this season’s harvest. Feedback forms are available on council’s website, under the “have your say” section and can be emailed through to email@example.com by 30 June.
Bolton Street, Echuca 25 June to 28 June Road works on Bolton Street, between Warren and Connelly Streets, continue. Works include the replacement of the footpath, kerb and channel (gutter) and road surface. The road will be closed to all traffic, including local residents, from Monday, 25 June to Thursday, 28 June. Pedestrian access will continue for local residents. All vehicles should be parked outside the area during these dates. Residents have been directly advised of the temporary restriction to access.
FREE BUSINESS ENERGY FORUM

Tuesday, 19 June Kyabram Community Learning Centre. 9 - 10am Limited stock of u vaccinations is currently available for children aged 6 months - up to 5 years (5 years old’s don’t qualify), over 65s and people considered high risk (diabetics, pregnant ladies, etc) only. At this stage, with the shortage spanning across Victoria and NSW, the vaccine is not available to people outside of these risk groups. Please call council on 1300 666 535 before attending a session.
