WORKS NOTICE Mt Terrick Road Bridge upgrade works
Mt Terrick Road Bridge will be closed on Monday, 10 September for approximately two weeks while works are undertaken to increase the capacity of the bridge and remove the existing load limit. Detours and signage will be in place for the duration of the closure.
Drainage works, Hargreaves Lane, Kyabram
Drainage maintenance works will start on Hargreaves Lane, Kyabram on Monday, 17 September. The lane will be closed to through traffic for approximately one week. During this time there will be no through traffic access. Local access to properties will be maintained during this time.
NOW OPEN WICKED Survey
Campaspe Shire Council is collecting data on community perception and behaviour relating to waste and the environment via the annual WICKED (Waste in Campaspe – Know, Educate, Do) survey. The survey can be accessed via council’s website with hard copies available from customer service centres. Survey closes 30 September.

18018 – Garden waste mulching services
Council is seeking tenders for garden mulching services at seven transfer stations within Campaspe Shire. Tender closes 2 pm, 2 October.
18020 – Radcliffe Street, Echuca, retaining wall reconstruction
Council is seeking tenders for construction of a 16 m section of sheet pile retaining wall adjacent the east bank of the Campaspe River, Radcliffe Street, Echuca. Works involve removing and reinstating a public deck, and driving a sheet pile wall. Piles will be supplied by council. Works to be completed by the 21 December 2018. Tender closes 2 pm, 2 October.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO SELL LAND and call for Submissions
Pursuant to Section 189 of the Local Government Act 1989, Campaspe Shire Council intends to sell by private treaty the following land; Lots 1 and 2 on PS423159 Volume 10696 Folio 492 and Volume 10696 Folio 493 corner of Finlay and Henderson Roads Tongala and land off the plan for Lot 1 on proposed plan of subdivision PS801371 being part of Certi cate of Title Volume 8821 Folio 381 known as the former Golden Cow site, 715 Henderson Road, Tongala to McColl’s Transport Pty Ltd for $286,000 (GST inclusive). The proposed sale will be subject to contractual terms satisfactory to council. Any submissions in relation to the proposed sale will be considered in accordance with Section 223 of the Local Government Act 1989, which provides that :Any submissions in respect of this matter received by council no later than 4 October 2018 shall be considered; Any person who has made a submission to council is entitled to request in the submission that the person wishes to appear in person or to be represented by a person specified in the submission at a meeting of council or a committee to council to be heard in support of the submission. Submitters should be aware that submissions are required to be available for public inspection. Following consideration of any submissions council may resolve either to proceed, or not to proceed, with the proposed sale.
