COL­BINAB­BIN may have fallen one game short in the Heath­cote Dis­trict Foot­ball Net­ball League se­nior foot­ball, but the club wasn’t go­ing home qui­etly in the re­serves grand fi­nal on Satur­day.

The Grasshop­pers booted 13 goals and never looked wor­ried by White Hills en route to a 47-point vic­tory that saw the re­serves flag end up in their hands.

Sa­muel Hill and Stephen Tuo­hey both booted four goals, while Hugh Bar­low was best on ground for the Hop­pers. Net­ball The Hop­pers A grade net­ball side’s in­cred­i­ble run in the HDNL came to an end on Satur­day.

After a dom­i­nant few sea­sons, the girls suf­fered a heart-break­ing two-goal loss at the hands of White Hills.

In the un­der 17s, the Hop­pers were also un­lucky to strike for the pre­mier­ship.

The team fell to Elmore by seven goals in a tough con­test.

But the un­der 15s were able to pro­vide some re­lief for the net­ball side of the club, beat­ing White Hills by a sin­gle goal to claim the pre­mier­ship.
