Art classes to be held in Rochester

LEAD­ING Cam­paspe art teacher Sue Rac­canello has an­nounced a new class will be launched in Rochester from Sat­ur­day, Oc­to­ber 13.

The pub­lished au­thor said the classes will be held in the Rochester Mu­seum from 9.30am to 11.30am, the se­ries will fin­ish on Sat­ur­day Novem­ber 24.

Sue said the se­ries cov­ers all as­pects of draw­ing in­clud­ing:

■ Com­po­si­tion

■ Per­spec­tive

■ Ren­der­ing tech­niques

■ Drap­ery

■ Still life and land­scape

■ Life draw­ing ‘‘I have been run­ning classes in Echuca for some time now, and peo­ple have been com­ing from Rochester, so it seemed the right time to make them avail­able lo­cally,’’ Sue said.

‘‘Be­cause we are cov­er­ing a va­ri­ety of tech­niques ev­ery­one will be able to work at their own pace re­gard­less of ex­pe­ri­ence,’’ she added.

Sue said the classes are open to all lev­els and be­gin­ners are wel­come and will find they fit easily into the pro­gram.

There are only lim­ited spa­ces avail­able at the new class so book­ings are es­sen­tial.
