THE Elmore Field Days were held last week, and just like every other year there was so much to see and do. Public relations officer John Giffin was thrilled with the turnout. ‘‘We were very happy with the crowds, we had about as good a crowd as last year,’’ he said. ‘‘There were plenty of kids around as well as farmers. It’s great to see that next generation of farmers attending as well. ‘‘It was an amazing chance for everyone to have just one day off from the farm and gather together for a fun day out. ‘‘We’ll definitely have a go again next year. ‘‘We’ve been going for 55 years now and want to keep having a crack at it.’’
