At the recent AGM the club received a very comprehensive report on the current state of our ongoing water connection issues. Hopefully the club will have access to the Campaspe River supply in time for spray irrigation to start early into the new year, which should see a boost in growth of the natural couch and other grasses seeded since moving to the Black Culvert Rd site. Echuca South 7 (2 sets, 24 games) lost to Rochester 9 (4 sets, 30 games). Colbinabbin 2 and Rochester 8 did not complete their game due to rain. Members re-elected most of the previous year’s committee who are eager for the 2019 season to start. It will be an exciting time as lots of work would have been done in the off season, particularly in and around the new computerised watering system and sprinklers that haven’t been operational for over five years.

The club passes on their condolences to Jenny Major on the death of her brother Ron and to the Elmore Golf Club. Ron was a regular visitor to our club and will be missed by many.
