SILENCE GOLDEN

Canning Times - - OPINION -

TONY Abbott said he would not snipe from the back bench when he was deposed as prime minister two years ago, yet he has been causing waves of disunity in the Liberal team.

It is obvious he is driven by the desire to lead the party again, even if it is from the opposition benches.

Perhaps he should consider a career change and spend his time in a monastery reflecting and leading a merry band of Trappist monks.

I am sure that many of his Liberal colleagues would appreciate the sound of silence.
