Work­ers re­warded for achieve­ments

MORE than 200 peo­ple turned out to con­grat­u­late work­ers with dis­abil­i­ties who had been em­ployed for more than 30 years.

Five Cer­tifi­cates of Ap­pre­ci­a­tion were also pre­sented by WA Dis­abil­ity En­ter­prises to the Depart­ment of De­fence, Par­lia­men­tary Ser­vices WA, City of Cock­burn, City of Can­ning and WA Po­lice.

The length of ser­vice awards were pre­sented by Ac­tiv to eight work­ers from High Wy­combe, Wil­lagee, Can­ning­ton, River­ton, St James and Bentley.

Dis­abil­ity Ser­vices Min­is­ter Stephen Dawson was pre­sented with an art­work to thank him for his at­ten­dance and a plaque for Ac­tiv Em­ploy­ment Ser­vices’ re­cent ex­pan­sion was un­veiled.
