CAN­NING VALE

AT 1.15am on Tues­day May 29, a 30-year-old man who po­lice were look­ing for was found at a home in Can­ning Vale and ar­rested. It is al­leged he had a shot­gun and am­mu­ni­tion at the time of his ar­rest. Af­ter in­ves­ti­ga­tions by Ar­madale de­tec­tives the man was charged with in­ci­dents that oc­curred in April and May in Gos­nells, Mount Na­sura, Kelm­scott, Can­ning Vale and Bal­la­jura. He was charged with 13 of­fences in­clud­ing two counts of ag­gra­vated armed rob­bery, threats to kill, dis­charge firearm to cause fear and de­pra­va­tion of liberty.

TWO men have been charged af­ter an al­leged as­sault in Oak­ford on Sun­day Fe­bru­ary 11. Po­lice al­lege the men were in a ve­hi­cle driv­ing pass the prop­erty when one of the men en­tered by climb­ing over a gate. Po­lice say the 71-year-old man and 64-year-old woman who live at the home were then as­saulted. On Tues­day May 29, a 32year-old man of no fixed ad­dress was ar­rested in re­la­tion to an­other al­leged as­sault. He was then given fur­ther charges of in­tent to do griev­ous bod­ily harm, does griev­ous bod­ily harm to an­other and ag­gra­vated as­sault oc­ca­sion­ing bod­ily harm re­lat­ing to the Oak­ford in­ci­dent on Fri­day June 1. On the same day, a 38-year-old Can­ning Vale man was ar­rested and charged with in­tent to do griev­ous bod­ily harm, does griev­ous bod­ily harm to an­other and ag­gra­vated as­sault oc­ca­sion­ing bod­ily harm.

CAN­NING­TON

A 30-YEAR-OLD man and a 23-year-old woman have been charged with one count of steal­ing af­ter an in­ci­dent in Fre­man­tle on May 18. The woman has also been sum­monsed with a fur­ther steal­ing of­fence in Can­ning­ton, while the man was charged with 14 other of­fences that oc­curred in War­wick, Mirra­booka, Yokine and Perth be­tween April 27 and May 20.
