AT 1.15am on Tuesday May 29, a 30-year-old man who police were looking for was found at a home in Canning Vale and arrested. It is alleged he had a shotgun and ammunition at the time of his arrest. After investigations by Armadale detectives the man was charged with incidents that occurred in April and May in Gosnells, Mount Nasura, Kelmscott, Canning Vale and Ballajura. He was charged with 13 offences including two counts of aggravated armed robbery, threats to kill, discharge firearm to cause fear and depravation of liberty.
TWO men have been charged after an alleged assault in Oakford on Sunday February 11. Police allege the men were in a vehicle driving pass the property when one of the men entered by climbing over a gate. Police say the 71-year-old man and 64-year-old woman who live at the home were then assaulted. On Tuesday May 29, a 32year-old man of no fixed address was arrested in relation to another alleged assault. He was then given further charges of intent to do grievous bodily harm, does grievous bodily harm to another and aggravated assault occasioning bodily harm relating to the Oakford incident on Friday June 1. On the same day, a 38-year-old Canning Vale man was arrested and charged with intent to do grievous bodily harm, does grievous bodily harm to another and aggravated assault occasioning bodily harm.
A 30-YEAR-OLD man and a 23-year-old woman have been charged with one count of stealing after an incident in Fremantle on May 18. The woman has also been summonsed with a further stealing offence in Cannington, while the man was charged with 14 other offences that occurred in Warwick, Mirrabooka, Yokine and Perth between April 27 and May 20.
