Drink driv­ing leads to $500 fine

A GAYN­DAH man has been con­victed for drink driv­ing af­ter reg­is­ter­ing a read­ing of .074%. The 34year-old was pulled over at 11.05pm by po­lice on Field­ing St, Gayn­dah on May 25. He was fined $500 and his li­cence was sus­pended for three months. Mag­is­trate Max­ine Bald­win told the man he must think to him­self “If I am­go­ing to drink, I’m not go­ing to drive, full stop.”
