RAW Dance Company is part of the great entertainment line-up at the free ROC Up concert.

Everyone is invited to the community event on October 13 at the RM Williams Australian Bush Learning Centre in Eidsvold.

The company will be visiting the schools doing workshops with the chil- dren after the school holidays in a lead-up to the concert.

In addition to ROC Up the North Burnett Regional Council will be launching the Recipes for Disaster Cookbook and having a Cook UP (Uniting People) competition between the emergency services teams – Queensland Police Service, QFRS and combined EMQ SES Team.

This will mean the emergency service people involved will have to be prepared for any disaster that may happen during the Cook UP. They should be prepared to use what is available and of course work together as they do in times of disaster.

The recipe books will be made available through council’s library networks after the launch.
