LARGE num­bers of Cen­tral and North Bur­nett lo­cals trav­elled across to Gin Gin for the cam­p­draft re­cently.

Re­sults for the week­end re­flected the num­ber of Bur­nett par­tic­i­pants who were on hand, with much of the prize money and awards com­ing back to Monto, Mt Perry and Eidsvold.

A num­ber of com­peti­tors from the South Bur­nett also did well at the two day event. SPEED IS ON: Mt Perry’s PeterWal­lace is not let­ting his beast get away in the open cam­p­draft at Gin Gin.

GOGREY: BenWeller fromEidsvold places sixth in the novice cam­p­draft at Gin Gin rid­ing Mul­lan.

ON COURSE: Well re­spected Eidsvold stock­man Ron Bligh shows good form at Gin Gin Cam­p­draft, pic­tured here in the maiden cam­p­draft.

OPEN WIN­NER: Ni­cholas Mark­well of Eidsvold wins the Gin Gin open cam­p­draft rid­ing Bella with a score of 174.

ON THE SHOUL­DER: Monto’s Paul Pow­nall wins the re­stricted open cam­p­draft at Gin Gin rid­ing Lyn­dall.
