Burnett cutters impress
WOODCHOPPING aces Danny Staib and Terena Dingle were the pride of the Central and North Burnett at this year’s Royal Melbourne Show.
The duo placed first in the Jack and Jill Double-Handed Sawing Handicap (375mm) event recently.
Coalstoun Lakes resident, Staib, also took out first place in the Underhand and Standing Block Combination Championship (275mm), and placed in the top three in three other events.
Gayndah State School teacher, Dingle, also finished third in two Jill and Jill Double-Handed sawing events.
The champion woodchoppers will be back in the Burnett for the Mt Perry Axemen Sawyers Annual Woodchop on October 13.
