Pink ladies gather for charity dinner
GAYNDAH residents showed their support for sufferers of breast cancer at the Pink Lady Dinner last Saturday night.
The Inner Wheel Club of Gayndah holds the annual event to raise money and create awareness.
Gayndah’s bowls club hosted the pink-themed night, with attendees donning pink hats and clothing.
President Jean Schubert said the first event was held in 2006.
“It was started by Kaylene Mullally,” she said.
“Kaylene had breast cancer and we have continued it in her honour.”
