United af­ter 100 years

PROUD de­scen­dants of An­drew and Lil­ias Robert­son gath­ered re­cently to cel­e­brate 100 years of set­tle­ment in Mun­dub­bera.

Fam­ily mem­bers trav­elled from as far away as Mel­bourne to be re­united and to visit sig­nif­i­cant places.

The Robert­sons first set­tled at Glen­rae and later on the Boyne River at Cooranga.

Atag-along tour with com­men­tary was or­gan­ised for the de­scen­dants vis­it­ing all places of in­ter­est, be­gin­ning at the set­tle­ment site of Glen­rae on Satur­day and fin­ish­ing at the Mun- dub­bera ceme­tery, the fi­nal rest­ing place of An­drew and Lil­ias Robert­son and­many other fam­ily mem­bers on Sun­day.

A din­ner was held on Satur­day night at the home of Graeme and Betty Robert­son, where a cake sig­ni­fy­ing 100 years was cut by Peggy Payne and Lach­lanWebb.
