United after 100 years
PROUD descendants of Andrew and Lilias Robertson gathered recently to celebrate 100 years of settlement in Mundubbera.
Family members travelled from as far away as Melbourne to be reunited and to visit significant places.
The Robertsons first settled at Glenrae and later on the Boyne River at Cooranga.
Atag-along tour with commentary was organised for the descendants visiting all places of interest, beginning at the settlement site of Glenrae on Saturday and finishing at the Mun- dubbera cemetery, the final resting place of Andrew and Lilias Robertson andmany other family members on Sunday.
A dinner was held on Saturday night at the home of Graeme and Betty Robertson, where a cake signifying 100 years was cut by Peggy Payne and LachlanWebb.
