Ridgehaven looking in good shape
A POSITIVE outlook is on display for Monto’s Ridgehaven Retirement Complex.
The group held its annual general meeting and members’ dinner recently.
There was no change in the board and a profit was recorded, despite being a not-for-profit organisation.
President Paul Lobegeier said aged care was not easy and the staff deserved to be commended for their efforts.
“I have enormous admiration for the level of dedication from the staff in a very demanding job,” he said.
Monto’s aging demographic is reflected in a large waiting list for Ridgehaven. Admissions are accepted on a needs basis. The Ridgehaven board is currently waiting for the next round of Federal Government funding to reach its target of 40 beds.
