Technology meets tradition

Academics, sport and culture

GAYNDAH State School has a proud tradition of quality education.

Students at the school actively participate in the national curriculum and are enthusiastic learners. Many students have experienced successful academic, sporting and cultural accomplishments through a variety of programs, including academic competitions, sporting opportunities, debating and dance.

A Kids Teaching Kids Environmental Symposium this year highlighted to other schools the confidence and competence of our students.

Technology and innovation play an important role in our education and Gayndah State School is well equipped to support our students in the 21st century.

All students have access to cameras, computers, online learning and iPads and every classroom has an interactive whiteboard.

Community partnerships are forged through our enrichment program and our active and enthusiastic P&C helps keep our school well resourced.

Our caring, experienced and devoted staff encourages students to achieve their best through a variety of teaching and learning styles.

Gayndah State School exposes students to a “tapestry of traditions and a future of opportunities” making it a great place to learn.
