Se­niors make friends

A FRIEND­SHIP morn­ing tea was held by the Gayn­dah Se­nior Cit­i­zens at the RSL Hall.

The func­tion brought to­gether 25 mem­bers and their friends to en­joy board games, cards and a good chat.

Pres­i­dent Beryl Palmer said she was pleased five of the friends be­came new mem­bers of the Gayn­dah Se­nior Cit­i­zens club.

“The se­nior cit­i­zens meet at the RSL Hall ev­ery Mon­day at 9am and are al­ways pleased to wel­come new faces,” she said.

The club en­joys a busy sched­ule, vis­it­ing the Mary­bor­ough Pen­sion­ers in early Novem­ber, and host­ing Wondai Se­nior Cit­i­zens late Novem­ber.
