TUESDAY’S Veterans 9 hole competition winner was Bev Emmerton with 26 points, Runner up was Lindsay Baker with 23. Pinshot for hole 5 was Bev Emmerton and Henry Gow took out the putting competition. Thursday’s Sporters 9 hole competition had 29 players in attendence. Winner was John Mulally, runner up was Jeremy Zahl and second runner up was Rod Purcell. Pinshot for 5/14 was Steve Trott and 7/16 was Steve Jamieson. Saturday, October 20 was the Foursomes Championships. Men’s 27 hole gross was Jeremy and David Zahl with 113 strokes, Men’s 27 hole nett was Lindsay Baker and Ray Willis with 100 ¾ nett. MONTO Hospital Auxillary held a fundraiser on Saturday with 20 teams of three competing in a three-person Ambrose event as well as novelty shots on most holes.
