Weed field day looms
A FREE Lantana, Madeira Vine and Cat’s Claw Creeper Control Workshop including field demonstration on splatter gas guns is being held at Coalstoun Lakes Community Hall on Wednesday, November 14.
The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry and DOW AgroSciences will present the workshop and attendees will be offered a presentation on Lantana, Madeira Vine and Cat’s Claw Creeper by DAFF National WoNS co-ordinator Kym Johnson.
DOW AgroSciences territory sales manager NickKoch will also have a presentation on the use of chemicals for the control of lantana.
Participants will be offered the opportunity to view a field demonstration of an NJ Phillips Splatter Gun.
The workshop runs from 9am–2pm.
