Spe­cial day on bowls greens

A SPE­CIAL bowls day was held at Bin­jour last week­end with fam­i­lies and friends gath­er­ing as they do an­nu­ally to re­mem­ber Keith Ei­nam who died in 2005 aged 17.

The day’s em­pha­sis was on fam­ily, friends and fun while play­ing bowls – a sport en­joyed by Keith.

Each team con­sisted of two bowlers with ei­ther a ju­nior or a non-bowler join­ing in.

Or­gan­is­ers and Keith’s fam­ily were pleased with the num­ber of peo­ple who par­tic­i­pated and made the day mem­o­rable.

Tro­phies and prizes were do­nated by Keith’s fa­ther, Er­rol, his sis­ters, Natalie and Min­nie-Sarah, and their fam­i­lies.

The fam­ily triple of Brit­tanny, Aileen and Kelvin Wi­ley emerged over­all win­ners with other fam­ily teams also fea­tur­ing when tro­phies and prizes were pre­sented.

DAY FOR KEITH: The an­nual Keith Ei­nam Memo­rial Bowls day was held last week­end at the Bin­jour Bowls Club. Keith’s fa­ther, Er­rol Ei­nam, pre­sented tro­phies to the win­ners for the day - the fam­ily triple of Kelvin, Aileen and Brit­tanny Wi­ley.
