Special day on bowls greens
A SPECIAL bowls day was held at Binjour last weekend with families and friends gathering as they do annually to remember Keith Einam who died in 2005 aged 17.
The day’s emphasis was on family, friends and fun while playing bowls – a sport enjoyed by Keith.
Each team consisted of two bowlers with either a junior or a non-bowler joining in.
Organisers and Keith’s family were pleased with the number of people who participated and made the day memorable.
Trophies and prizes were donated by Keith’s father, Errol, his sisters, Natalie and Minnie-Sarah, and their families.
The family triple of Brittanny, Aileen and Kelvin Wiley emerged overall winners with other family teams also featuring when trophies and prizes were presented.
