Boon­dooma Dam: Nice bass and gold­ens caught by bounc­ing masked vibes off the bot­tom as well as jig­ging SMAK ice jigs around the start of the Stu­art and Boyne. Some nice fish com­ing on spin­ner baits in the tim­bered ar­eas of the dam and slow trolling green and gold SMAK 18ft divers has also pro­duced some nice fish. Most of the fish be­ing landed in the tim­bered ar­eas of the dam. Some good gold­ens and jew caught on worms and live shrimp. No re­ports of red claw as yet. Bjelke-Petersen Dam: Live bait seems to be work­ing best at the mo­ment. Gold­ens have been caught on the troll with hard and soft bod­ied jack­alls. Some big golden perch and bass be­ing caught on salt wa­ter yab­bies and worms. Lake Som­er­set: Fish­ing great at the mo­ment with blades work­ing well. Pel­i­can Point and Queen St still the best ar­eas to fish. Live bait has pro­duced some nice fish as with salt wa­ter yab­bies. Soft plas­tics and masked vibes work­ing well around Pel­i­can Point. Coastal: Bream, flat­head and whit­ing around the Noosa River. The Ma­roochy River has been pro­duc­ing grunter bream and whit­ing be­tween Twin Wa­ters and the Mo­tor­way Bridge. Trevally, grunter bream and gi­ant her­ring around the py­lons of the Mo­tor­way Bridge. Tar­pon, flat­head and school jew along the Bli Bli reach, man­grove jack near the Bli Bli Bridge and jew at night at Yinni Street at Ma­roochy­dore. Flat­head and whit­ing near Bax­ters Jetty at Sandgate also. Off­shore: Snap­per, tusk­fish, pearl perch, trag jew and moses perch at Rain­bow last week. Snap­per and trag jew on the 36s east of South­port Se­away also. Con­di­tions in most other places have been un­favourable.
