Diabetics invited to enjoy morning tea
GAYNDAH residents who have diabetes are encouraged to attend the region’s Diabetes Support Group.
The community group provides information and support for diabetes sufferers and their families.
Diabetes Australia reports that 280Australians develop diabetes every day, and it is Australia’s fastest growing chronic disease.
A community morning tea will be held at the Gayndah RSL on November 21, from 10am–noon.
The morning tea will bring together the Diabetes Support Group with Gayndah’s Arthritis Support Group and Carers Queensland.
If you, or someone you know is interested in attending the morning tea, contact Angela Slack on 4161 3571.
