THE annual Boynewood seven-a-side cricket day was held on Saturday, November 4, with glorious weather making for a spec- tacular day of cricket action.

Four teams contested Agrade and B-grade in a round robin format with the teams with the highest cumulative run totals contesting finals.

The A-grade final was between Monogorilby and Colts, with Monogorilby winning the encounter.

Meantime, the B-grade final was a play-off between Boyne B and Sword Brothers, with BoyneBdeclared the winners.

The Boynewood P&C said they were again appreciative of the players and umpires who gave up their time to play in this carnival and make the day a success.
