Top touch play
TOUCH football players from Gayndah made the journey to Kingaroy on November 17 for the Wide Bay Junior Championship.
The under-12s and U16s from Gayndah Junior Touch played several games at the tournament and performed tremendously.
Neither team made it to the final, but they both gave the Maryborough teams a touch-up.
The U16 boys defeated Maryborough Green by a massive 7–0 after putting in some athletic performances.
And the U12 boys were excited to get a great win over Maryborough, with the final score being 5–2.
Both of the touch teams were great representatives of their club.
The players are improving with every game, so Maryborough will need to watch out next year.
