Time to take the next step
MUNDUBBERA State School Year 10 students were farewelled by all students and staff who lined the paths leading from their final school assembly area to the front gate.
The last hand they each shook was that of principal Peter Townsend.
After helping to clean up at the bowls club, where their formal dinner was held the evening before, students spent their last day as members of the Mundubbera State School community having fun in the ski area.
Next year will see huge changes in the lives of these young people as they continue their education elsewhere.
Some intend taking advantage of the options offered by the Mundubbera campus of Burnett State College where non-OP subjects are taught by a combination of traditional teaching and the use of online learning. Others will attend boarding school for Years 11 and 12while most intend to travel daily to Gayndah.
